Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), coordinator of TELERGATIS, is one of the largest research centers in Greece with well-organized facilities and highly specialized staff. The Institute of Computer Science (ICS), one of the seven institutes of FORTH, has a long history and recognized tradition, since its establishment in 1983, in conducting basic and applied research, developing applications and products, providing services, and playing a leading role in Greece and internationally, in the ICT sector. In its continuing efforts to exploit its research activities and results, FORTH-ICS contributes significantly to the diffusion of modern ICT in the public and private sectors. Its research directions take into account state-of-the-art technologies, modern trends, as well as research and technological challenges internationally.
NovelTech was founded in September 2005 in Crete, and is a member of the Science and Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C). NovelTech is a web and mobile services company that has several products, developed fully in-house, that can be either licensed or delivered as managed IT services.
